The Crenshaw School Begins at New Campus

The Crenshaw School of Southwest Orange County is a school on the move.  Established in 1999 its consistent yearly growth has forced this private institution to relocate to a temporary facility in Winter Garden, while they continue their building process in Orange County. 

The school is probably best known for its low class ratio, family atmosphere, and most importantly its challenging academics.  At their temporary location at the Faith Family Church on 305 Beulah Road, they continue to offer their family friendly activities such as their Fall Festival, and Thanksgiving Luncheon.  The excellent academics continue while the students enjoy Fun Fridays, Activities Day or Whatever Wear Fridays.

The picture below is the artist's rendition of Phase I, a two story building to house 450-500 students.  Future plans include outbuildings which will house an auditorium, cafeteria, gymnasium, and administration.  The final build out should easily accommodate 600+ students.

Throughout the building process, the school remains true to its mission "We believe a strong foundation in academics and a well-rounded student is essential to the development in forming creative, thinking individuals." 

The unofficial expected opening date for the new location is early 2009.
